Have you seen lately just how beautiful you really are? Most people have not see that because they’ve been afraid of what is residing in their shadow self–the part they hide from others. Joseph Campbell said it well when he said: “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure that you seek.” And yet it is ones personal shadow that is the “cave” we fear to enter or admit even exists. The shadow may be fear, anger, past deeds, shame, guilt, attitudes, beliefs, reactions, denials, lies, hurting others, failures, and more. Rather than admit the truth of one’s shadow, it is far easier to blame others for our guilt and label them as the “bad ones.” But once we choose to step into our shadow, own all that is there, then choose to let the old energies go and replace them with positive energies, we become our most beautiful Self ever.
